Sundays / 1-2:30pm / February 3-May 4*

Enjoy the process of creating a dance performance based on women's experiences and knowledge. Valerie Williams will teach dance and direct women in creating and developing a dance performance. "Women In Motion" will meet from 1-2:30pm on Sundays, in room 196 of the Forker Building on the ISU campus, beginning February 3, with performances at Ames City Auditorium on May 3 and 4. This program is designed to teach more than just dance performance. You'll be involved in composition, creativity, and we'll encourage your individual abilities and expressiveness. Exercise your imagination along with your body! $130 fee includes everything - classes, costume, cameraderie.

We'll work with:
     · Composition
     · Improvisation
     · Technique
     · Using movement to express ideas and feelings
