Lark out! This year is for the birds! Don’t be chicken, join these fabulous women including the professional dancers from Co’Motion Dance Theater for an evening of oh-so-pheasant dance and pun- I mean fun. Oops, that was hawkward…
Women in Motion is a semester long dance intensive for women. Hens dig their beaks into all aspects of live performance including composition, creativity, and the final concert dance performance! Everyone pigeons in. Owl of them. The final product is wholly unique dance experience that’s highly wrencommended!
Co'Motion Dance Theater presents Birds of a Feather, at the Ames City Auditorium on Friday, May 17 at 8pm, or if you can’t sparrow few moments, join us Saturday, May 18, also at 8pm. A tweet for the whole family! Birds include Laura Merrick, Deb Kline, Greta Levis, Greta Anderson, Sarah Davis, Susan Norris, Tracy Sun, Jia Ma, Susan Benner, Carolyn Myers, as well as company members Elizabeth Ferreira and Silvina Lopez Barrera. Choreography is by Valerie Williams and the dancers, each of whose perspective is down right un-finching.
